Saundersfoot Bowling Club was pleased to have new club shirts in 2011. Thanks to financial donations from Templeton Beer, Wine and Spirit Co, Sky Electrix, Heritage Park, Pleasant Valley, and Costain, all members received a new shirt adorned with the sponsor’ logos and club badge in the club colours, white, gold and burgundy. Club president John Evans is pictured with sponsors, Lyndon Belt (Templeton, Beer, Wine and Spirit Co), Jason Emmins (Sky Electrix) and Phil Baker (Costain), together with members of the management committee, at a cheese and wine evening held at the club.

Gemma Amos Junior International
Everyone at Saundersfoot Bowling Club was delighted when Gemma Amos received her junior international cap at the junior international series in Edinburgh in July 2011.

Well Done to Ceris Hewlings

Ladies Captain Shield Winner Kath Blayney
Winner of the 2011 Captain's Shield was vice-chairlady Kath Blayney (seen right). She was presented with the shield by club captain Sue Roden at her successful Captain’s Day. Kath was presented with the accolade in honour of all the work she does at the club.
Saundersfoot Ladies
The Saundersfoot Bowling Club tables at the West Wales Ladies Bowling Association’s annual luncheon at Nantyffin Motel in October became affectionately known as the winners enclosure! For Saundersfoot chalked up success winning all, but two of the main competitions at the finals weekend held in Pendine during the summer. Welsh international and club secretary Ceris Hewlings retained the coveted blue riband singles cup for the second year running. Junior international Gemma Amos was unbeaten in the two-wood singles for the second year running, while Ann Lewis was runner-up. Ann and Gwenda Rees won the four wood pairs, with Chris Haley they retained the triples, and with Chris and Stephanie Amos won the rinks. Ann and Gwenda were runners-up in the two-wood pairs, while Ceris and club vice-chairlady were runners-up in the four-wood pairs, with Shirley Spiller, Mary Cavell, Sue Roden and Beryl Lewis runners-up in the rinks.
Well Done Saundersfoot Ladies

Saundersfoot Ladies won the Pembrokeshire Ladies League for the second year running in 2011. Captain Angela Roberts is seen centre receiving the trophy from league chairman, Gloria Dugmore (right) and secretary Diana Davies.
